FSEG![]() Fire Safety Engineering Group FSEGPrinciples and Practice of Fire ModellingDescriptionFire Safety Science and Engineering is concerned with the efficient protection of life and property. To achieve this aim it relies heavily on mathematical modelling. This short course examines the role of mathematical fire models in fire safety science and in particular their formulation, limitations, applications and interpretation of model predictions. Course fees are detailed below. A discount is given to course places sponsored by the Fire Brigade or a Local Council. A further discount applies when registering 8 weeks before the start of each course. Fees include lecture material and notes, lunches, morning and afternoon tea/coffee and the course dinner. Delegates will also be provided with a 1 month trial licence for EXODUS and/or SMARTFIRE. The University of Greenwich reserves the right to change the above arrangements. Full refund will be given in the unlikely event of cancellation of the course by the University of Greenwich, but cancellation by delegates will incur the following charges: Early registration prices finish on 9 August, after which full fees will be charged.
