Topics for discussion include case studies involving waste and soil treatment, construction and demolition waste management, soil contamination inluding PFAS, developments in the regulation of waste, materials re-use and recovery, and the results of leading-edge research. SSE20 is being held in association with ISCOWA; SSE20 is a Mini-WASCON meeting. Fees include refreshments and a buffet lunch.

Forensic Anthropology Short Course: Trauma AnalysisDescriptionThis intensive 3-day course will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of trauma analysis in forensic anthropology. It will cover different types of trauma interpretation of skeletal injuries, and the application of forensic anthropology in criminal and medico-legal investigations. Through a combination of theoretical lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions, participants will learn to differentiate between perimortem, postmortem, and antemortem trauma, analyse fracture patterns, and apply best practices in trauma interpretation.
