EXODUS can be used for both evacuation simulation and pedestrian dynamics/circulation analysis. The software has been developed to meet the challenging demands of performance based safety codes.

Based on a highly sophisticated set of sub models, it shatters the mould of traditional engineering analysis to produce realistic people-people, people-fire and people-structure interactions. As a result, the engineer can test more designs in less time to reach the optimal solution, free of the high cost and potential danger associated with human evacuation trials. Developed by the Fire Safety Engineering Group at the University of Greenwich, EXODUS comprises a suite of software packages, tailored to the building, maritime, rail and aircraft environments.
